VPI Turns to Making Hand Sanitiser

VPI has stopped making turntables in favour of hand sanitiser.
Over the past week, we have seen F1 teams and vacuum cleaner makers switch from their usual engineering task to take on the urgent need caused by the coronavirus. It is also lovely to see the hi-fi industry not only taking the necessary precautions but helping wherever they can. One such brand is New Jersey's VPI Industries.
The high-end audio manufacturer has switched its production focus from turntables to hand sanitiser. Initially, the VPI hand sanitiser will be distributed locally and then further afield as the situation allows. Naturally, VPI is making it available free of charge.
Mat Weisfeld, VPI President, told StereoNET:
VPI has taken a break on turntables, and we have started producing hand sanitiser to help in the fight against COVID-19. We will be nationally providing it free of charge. Any New Jersey residents can contact us if they are in need of sanitiser. Everyone be safe and careful!
Moreover, if you're local to the New Jersey factory, VPI has said on its Facebook page that if you email Info@vpiindustries.com they'll either mail it to you free of charge or leave it outside the factory. Furthermore, the team says “your money for hand sanitizer is no good here”.
On the company's Covid-19 blog post, VPI states that it's planning to have E-Events and listening sessions via live stream for everyone to enjoy from the comfort and safety of your own home.
VPI - StereoNET salutes you!
