RETURN OF THE NORDOST SUPERFLATLINE SPEAKER CABLE

The SuperFlatline Speaker Cable is a Nordost classic. Not only was it one of the first products to put the American cable creators firmly on the map, it was and still is easily spotted.

As the name suggests, its trademark, flat design soon became known throughout the industry as an exceptionally well respected high-end speaker cable.

Many fans will speak highly of its detail, clarity, and purity of sound.

The great news for those that have had to resort to scouring the classified ads for old stock is that the Nordost SuperFlatline cable is back!

Nordost’s SuperFlatline Speaker Cable consists of sixteen, 23 AWG solid core, flat and rectangular copper conductors.

We’re told that the flat geometry of this cable increases the signal transfer speed. What we do know for sure is that the profile of this cable makes it possible to run lengths under carpets and rugs for easy and discreet installation.

Merideth Gabor, Marketing Executive for Nordost told StereoNET:

Designed and manufactured entirely in the USA, the SuperFlatline Speaker Cable guarantees the precision of craftsmanship required to produce the uncolored, unfiltered accuracy of sound that is synonymous with Nordost.

We're very pleased to be able to reintroduce this classic Nordost product.

Additionally, SuperFlatline employs an innovative precision FEP extrusion process, which Nordost says lowers the capacitance and increases the bandwidth of the cable dramatically, enhancing accuracy in signal transfer.

This high quality and versatile cable can be used in any system. When used in a shotgun configuration (a double run of cable terminated into one connection at the speaker and amp ends), the SuperFlatline is capable of carrying high currents (up to 12.5 amps at 300 volts) while its 16 conductors can easily facilitate bi-wiring or bi-amping.

Local pricing and availability have not yet been confirmed.
