Pro-Ject has released the sub-£300 T1 turntable range including one with wireless abilities and another with in-built phono stage.

Following the recent announcements of the CD Box RS2 T CD Transport and X1 turntable, Pro-Ject adds the affordable T1 deck to its line-up.

The first Pro-Ject T-Line turntable aims to deliver authentic high-fidelity audio on a limited budget. Boasting premium materials, stylish aesthetics and a rich, lively sound, the extensive development process has ensured that there has been no compromise in the sound performance when achieving such an affordable price.

The stylish CNC-machined plinth is free from plastic parts and is carefully manufactured to ensure there are no hollow spaces inside, therefore avoiding unwanted vibrations within the chassis.

The glass platter is also a heavy, zero-resonance design. Finally, the purpose-chosen turntable feet do an excellent job of isolating the T1 from ambient vibrations around your hi-fi system.

The belt-driven system spins a newly designed sub-platter, which is mounted into an ultra-precise 0.001mm main bearing with a hardened steel axle and brass bushing – as enjoyed in the brand's Essential III turntables.

The tonearm on the T1 is a new model too - sporting a straight, 8.6-inch effective length and stiff aluminium construction, this one-piece tonearm also features low-friction bearings for absolute accuracy in use.

The T1 turntables are available in 3 different colour options: Matt Walnut, High-Gloss Black, and Matt White. The Pro-Ject T1 has an MSRP of €275  (incl. VAT).

The T1 BT adds a built-in phono stage, and a Bluetooth transmitter for wireless music streaming to the standard T1 turntable and has an MSRP of €325  (incl. VAT).

Finally, the Phono SB version includes a built-in, Pro-Ject designed high-quality phono MM stage and an electronic speed switch between 33 and 45 RPM. MSRP €325  (incl. VAT).
