KLH ULTIMATE ONE HEADPHONES LAUNCH WITH MTV AWARD APPEARANCE

The new KLH Ultimate One high-fidelity headphones combined their launch with featuring at the MTV award ceremony in celebrity gift bags.
The KLH brand is enjoying something of a rebirth following its acquisition in 2017 by David P. Kelley, formerly President of Global Sales and board member for Klipsch. As president and CEO of KLH, Kelley aims to take KLH back to its roots, to Henry Kloss’s original mission, to build world-class loudspeakers and radios at affordable prices.
Founded in 1957 as KLH Research and Development Corporation in Cambridge, Massachusetts by Henry Kloss, Malcolm S. Low, and Josef Anton Hofmann, KLH developed some remarkable innovations in audio, most notably the Model Eight high-selectivity radio; Model Nine full-range electrostatic loudspeaker; Model Forty tape recorder, and Model Eleven portable phonograph with stereo speakers.
Back to the present, KLH is celebrating the global launch of its new Ultimate One Open-Air Dynamic stereo headphones alongside the company's participation as an official 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards Celebrity Gift Bag Sponsor. The show at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California was aired on Monday, June 17th.
The KLH Ultimate One sport a classic open-air, over-ear headphone design and boast ebony wood earcups that suit both aesthetically as well as acoustically. The headphones also feature hand-stitched headbands and ear pads made of premium-grade leather and supported by dual-layer memory foam, all promising the utmost in comfort and longevity.
Inside the headphones are 50 mm (2-inch) pure beryllium drivers that deliver frequency responses of 18Hz -22KHz (+/- 3 dB) with a sensitivity rating of 97 dB.
KLH CEO and President David P. Kelley told StereoNET:
Our design goal with the KLH Ultimate One was to deliver a rich, enveloping musical experience that, simply put, elevates the soul. Given the amount of overwhelmingly enthusiastic responses we have received from critics, celebrities and consumers, we have achieved just that. We are delighted to be the headphone sponsor of the 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards Celebrity Gift Bag and couldn't imagine a more prominent and fitting event to help us celebrate our launch of the KLH Ultimate One worldwide.
The KLH Ultimate One is bundled in with a 2-meter detachable, 3.5mm pure silver-litz braided cable and removable 1/4-inch adapter.
Also included is a protective hard-sided black leather travel case plus a luxuriously soft velour carry bag.
Price and availability
The KLH Ultimate One cost £299 and are available right now.
