First Class Travel with Sennheiser

Travellers desire a great sounding, comfortable wireless headphone.

Sennheiser delivers on this wish list and moreover has added a bundle of hi-tech sound personalising features to its recently upgraded PXC 550 wireless, noise-cancelling headphone.

The result is a new PXC 550 wireless headphone with ear-pleasing sound quality, high comfort factor and a model built for the quality conscious traveller who enjoys great sound and desires up to 30 hours of battery life.

What’s more the PXC 550 has an easy to use NFC pairing mode for Bluetooth wireless audio transmissions, along with the ability to tailor the sound to suit individual tastes.

Using CapTune, Sennheiser’s first sound personalisation app that is free, owners of the PXC 550 can use four presets to adjust sound while one customizable Director mode can be tailored via CapTune.

Available for Android and iOS smartphones, CapTune doubles as a premium quality music player and a powerful sound tuning app to afford users immense sonic control.

CapTune allows for precise sonic adjustments with the equaliser. It also has a unique SoundCheck feature that can be used to tune music sound by A/B testing different set-ups.

The PXC 550 also has an especially designed plug-in so users can personalise the headphone’s built-in adaptive noise cancellation technology or hear audio prompts and activate the ‘phones Smart Pause mode.

The PXC 550 delivers hassle-free, clear speech for commercial or private calls via three microphones and its patented NoiseGard hybrid adaptive noise cancellation delivers uninterrupted listening by monitoring and adapting to ambient noise levels.

Comfort was factored into the PXC 550’s design. It’s a light model built using high quality and durable materials ideal for long listening sessions. And after a long trip, the PXC 550 cleverly folds flat so they can be stored in the supplied travel case.

Sennheiser PXC 550 is available now for $630 RRP.
