Denon CEOL N11 DAB Music System Announced

Denon has announced its CEOL N11 DAB, which it describes as a next-generation lifestyle Network Music System.

The CEOL N11 DAB (£529) builds upon the success of Denon's CEOL stable and adds DAB+/DAB radio to HEOS multi-room skills and voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Denon's CEOL N11 DAB throws the listening option door wide open with wired or wi-fi internet streaming, AirPlay 2, and Bluetooth for starters.  Thanks to the USB port it will slurp up digital libraries from wired storage as well as your NAS music library. Just add some Denon Home speakers to multiple rooms and control it all with the HEOS app.

As mentioned earlier, in addition to Internet radio or music streaming services such as Spotify, Amazon Music HD and Tidal, you can also tap into the sounds of DAB+/DAB digital radio stations or analogue FM/AM radio.

Rounding things off is a dash of physical media as there's also a built-in CD player. If that's not enough, you get a set of RCA inputs as well as two optical inputs, one of which is TV-friendly. You also get a subwoofer output to further bolster your telly's audio.

We are told that the CEOL N11 DAB's Digital Processing Amplifier incorporates on-board digital EQ processing, and is optimised for the optional Denon SC-N10 (£99) two-way speakers. Each speaker houses a 12cm bass/midrange driver and a 3cm high-definition tweeter. Naturally, the cabinet has been designed to complement the CEOL N11 DAB.

The CEOL N11 DAB features an illuminated touch-sensitive control panel, while an OLED display offers clear playback information you can read from across the room.

The Denon CEOL N11 DAB is available in Grey, White and Black for £529/€529. The optional SC-N10 speakers cost £99/€99. All will be in retailers from August.
