Chord Hugo in Satin Black

The Hugo headphone amplifier and DAC from UK brand Chord Electronics has just had a mini make-over and is now available in satin black.

The original silver model was released at the start of this year and has enjoyed worldwide success and with the new look, offers great flexibility for system matching and integration into existing Chord Electronics systems.

Consumers have jumped on the matt/satin black finish on all things from luxury vehicles to household appliances, and Chord have achieved this finish via an anodizing process. According to Chord, “It offers a superior black-depth and colour consistency. Both the inner and outer case is treated, offering lasting protection”.

The Chord Electronics Hugo is available in Australia for $2,300.00 RRP, and for a limited time the satin black version will be available at the same price.

“We're excited about the release of the Hugo in black. Hugo has been so popular with enthusiasts already, and the black version will certainly appeal to some. We hope to receive stock very soon.” Chris Strom, Operations Manager for Radiance AV told StereoNET.

Chord Electronics is distributed in Australia by Radiance Audio Visual.
