The Swedish speaker maker has revealed a couple of keenly-priced options for those that have a long shopping list of requirements for what they expect from their speakers.

Audio Pro A26

The Audio Pro A26 standmounters (£500) and A36 floorstanders (£800) are versatile, to say the least. Here we have some slick-looking stereo speakers that will happily play music from your hi-fi system but will also give your telly-viewing a definite boost. Furthermore, you can sling tunes to them wirelessly from your aptX Bluetooth device or even over wi-fi.

Do you still need more? Well, both the Audio Pro A26 and A36 can be paired with other speakers in the Audio Pro multi-room range to give you all over audio.

Both models pack 150 watts of power thanks to a pair of Class D amps and sport a 1-inch textile dome tweeter. The A36s gets a couple of 4.5-inch rear-ported drivers while the A26 sports just the one. The A36 has a claimed frequency range of 32–25kHz with the crossover happening at 2.9kHz. The A26 manages a 45-20kHz range with the crossover at 2.8kHz.

When using the A26 or A36 as part of your AV set-up, hook-up the speakers to your TV by the HDMI ARC connection and then you have control of the speakers via your telly's remote control. If your gogglebox isn't so kitted out with HDMI ARC, then you have the options of both 3.5mm and optical inputs opening up more possibilities. Also, both models have a sub-woofer output too.

Naturally, there's an app for these. The Audio Pro Control app is there for screen-jabbers, but you can also use voice control thanks to the Amazon Alexa in-app function.

Additionally, the hands you more control over the speakers' sound as well as activating virtual surround sound if you're using the HDMI ARC connection. However, the bundled Audio Pro remote has five programmable buttons which can be set to play a radio station or Spotify playlist.

Price and availability

The A26 and A36 speakers are available to buy now, priced £500 and £800 respectively.
